Wikipedia says that a video game console “is an interactive entertainment computer or electronic device that produces a video display signal which can be used with a display device (a television, monitor, etc.) to display a video game”. There are so many great gaming consoles out there, PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360, PSP.
In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Sony was the dominant player in the video game industry. Sony Playstation 2 was extremely popular and had a great share of the console market. Then showed up one powerful tech corporation which could dethrone Sony. It was Microsoft, of course.
After the Microsoft’s first home console (Xbox) wasn’t successful enough, Microsoft released a new and much better version of its console called Xbox 360. Xbox 360 was considered, at the time, revolutionary. The entrance of Microsoft into the video game business was a sign that a new console war began. As an answer to Xbox 360, Sony presented the next version of its Playstation line called PS3.
So how and when will this war be over? What will decide this war? One of the most important weapons could be design. Some people think that PS3 has better design than XBOX 360 and some disagree. Of course, technical specifications are very important but there are many people that will buy a game console based just on its look.
We present you a work of Mr. Tai Chiem and his vision of future Playstation and Xbox (Playstation 4 and Xbox 720). We also present you a futuristic vision of PSP (Portable Sony Playstation), PSP2.

The best part about this blog are the comments. Clearly people don’t read that little blurb just before the pictures are shown that clearly states that these are just one person’s concepts of what they think will be the future of those companies consoles. Let me help the blogger out and rewrite it:

So thank you users DUMB, Tom Bubenik, MAD, and ghostRider for feeding the stereotype of the illiterate, uneducated, still living with parents while having 6 ‘girlfriends’ that you’ve only met on World of Warcraft, video game nerds. Believe me, when you grow up and get a life, a girlfriend maybe, move out on your own and stop playing video games 24/7, you’ll realize there are more things out in this world to be pissed at or irritated with other than ‘what could be the next Sony/Microsoft’ design.
As far as I’m concerned about Mr. Chiem’s designs, I really like the Sony designs. The only thing I like about the Xbox design is that it would follow their impractical design streak. Looks cool, but I agree that it wouldn’t be in the best interest for Microsoft to make a design they’ll need to have add on accessories for just to have it sit properly on a leveled surface. Good job though.
These…might come out…looking cooler than they are in those pictures in like 2020. if we all dont die in 2012, that is =D but yeah, these don’t really look that things that would come out to me.
