    • ]]>     Approximately 70% of Earth is covered by water, but there are many voices saying that, in future, drinking water will be worth the same as oil today, or even more. This is a huge problem and we need to appreciate every idea to resolve it.

    The Water Building Resort is a very interesting solution. It is a building designed by Orlando De Uruttia.

    This building will be able to convert the air into water and that’s why it’s beautifully designed in the shape of a falling drop of water. Building also uses renewable energy sources. Facade of the building (covered with photovoltaic glass) converts sun’s rays into solar power. Converting air into water is possible thanks to WaterMicron  equipment.

    Water Building Resort can also purify sea and rain water and it is designed for construction along warm and humid coasts. There are restaurants, gyms, hotel and conference rooms, exhibition halls on the upper floors and an underwater aquarium at the base of the Water Building Resort.

    Water Building Resort in numbers:

    - WaterMicron’s Atmospheric Water Generators each produce up to 5.000 liters of pure drinking water a day, a volume of 21,17 m3 supporting about 48 people using an average of 105 liters per person.

    - WaterMicron’s Atmospheric Water Generators work best in temperatures from 20 to 40 degree celsius and a humidity between 35% at 95%.

    Amphibious Hybrid is one of the possible answers. It is a concept vehicle that was created by     Janne Leppänen, Tuulia Miettinen, Roope Kolu, Tiemen Stelwagen, and Jaap Van Der Voort.

    It can be used on land, ice and on water. So how is this possible?

    “The wheel exists of movable parts which can increase traction or even transform in a paddle wheel to propel the vehicle in the water. The wheel is controlled by terrain sensors which decide when more or less traction is needed. This system provides the vehicle with more safety because it can answer to different kind of terrains. Inside each wheel is an electric engine, which has energy from batteries.”
